Sunday, May 17th 3PM-7PM

2521 N Mozart, Chicago, IL 60647 - Go around to the right side of the house to the backyard.

In the last three months we’ve rebranded our organization, launched a new, open-source, Drupal-based website (www.logansquaregreens.org), and kicked off a precinct-by-precinct campaign to get public referenda on health care and political reform.

We’re celebrating our recent success by having a picnic and potluck this Sunday, May 17th in the backyard of Phil Huckelberry, a very active member of our group and Chair of the Illinois Green Party. This is a great opportunity to enjoy the nice weather, grill out, relax, and meet your environmentally conscious, pro-democracy, pro-peace, and social justice oriented Logan Square neighbors.

Feel free to bring family or friends. We will have a grill. Simply bring your own meat (or veggie substitute), and we’ll grill it for you. Or bring any dish you want. Food contributions are encouraged, but not necessary to attend. We will provide plenty of alcohol (read: Miller Lite bottles) with a suggested $5 donation. BYOB if you please.
